They Come in all Sizes!

They come in all sizes and flavors up there!

It's your choice!

Great Fishing Here!

Plenty of action here!

These landing nets are great for Salmon, but they don't work well on 400kg's+ Gropers!

But, that's another story!

They Are There!

Don't forget the Crocs!

They are there, even when you don't see them - they see you!

This one is a baby, perhaps 5 foot.

Last trip I saw a 20+ foot one, from the air, whilst helping on a food drop to the Robertson River!

You can "Smile at the Crocodile", but always watch out for him!

No Woolworths Up There!

Take it all with you!

You'll get the basics there, but that's it!

If you can't fit it all in your car, plan for someone in your group to do a 90 kms round trip to the Borroloola Mini Mart, to get your weeks supply, as you load the houseboat!

But, don't expect to buy your Beer there!

Phoning Home!

It's a long trip to the local pay phone!

If you can, take a Sat. phone, it will come in VERY handy when both of your houseboat outboards break down and it's blowing a gale!

Trust us on this one!

Sunrise

Expect great sunsets and sunrises!

Mud Crabs

If you enjoy a feast of Crabs, you won't be disappointed!

We worked hard in the cold conditions, but normally they are easy to catch!

Barra Too

Even in the colder weather a Barra can be hooked!

Sam caught this one flicking from the dingy, in warmer conditions, they are really on the bite and will keep you busy all day!

The fishing is great, fantastic in fact, if you pick better weather than us!

This Queenie was taken on a lure, by me, and a great fight!

We've just returned from a great 7 days trip houseboat fishing on the Macarthur River, near Borroloola, in the Northern Territory.
.

If you're in to fishing and can spare the driving time, 2 days drive from anywhere, this is a great trip!
